Weekly Contest Festival

I will be a bit busy in real life till late March due to studies & exams, so the next Season will not be conducted very soon. Since I will not have enough time to post tasks for it, judge & follow the schedule. So, Instead it will happen in late March.

Now, the great news is that, till then, the club wont be unactive. We will have a Weekly Contest Festival. I will keep short competitions, games & contests every week to keep you entertained & engaged in fun activities. So, we will have weekly competitions till my exams get over. It would be great to polish your skills & even have a practice for Season 2. Right?

The best thing about it is that, 2 CONTESTANTS CAN GET A DIRECT ENTRY FROM THESE COMPETITIONS TO SEASON 2 IF THEY PERFORM EXTRAORDINARILY WELL.

Me: Congratulations Jenna! How does it feel to be he winner of FierceModels Season 1?
Jenna: It feels amazing right now! I saw the post and started to cry because I was so happy, I never thought I would get this far, but if you work hard for what you want..... Dreams do come true, like mine of winning :)

Me: Omg! really?! Who is your inspiration?
Jenna: My inspiration would have to be my family and friends. They help me get through everything! My stardoll inspiration would have to be........ Every stardoll member who puts the time and effect in making of their stardoll medoll, we are all beautiful and unqiue.

Me: Beautiful thoughts, Jenna. How does it feel to compete in the cycle?
Jenna: It feels great, it was a fun cycle! It was very nerve racking for me, hahaha. Because the other girls were AMAZING .

Me: Haha...I know. It was so difficult judging. Do you want to suggest any idea(s) for the club/blog/further seasons?
Jenna: Not really, because the club is already GREAT !
Maybe just for someone to help judge you ? Then the club can be updated faster?

Me: Yeah. I have thought of it & I am soon going to have one. ;] Thanks. We would like to know that which task was your favorite & which one was the most difficult?
Jenna: My favourite task would have to be the very 1st task, I love creating scenerys based on fairytales.
The most difficult task would be the Office task, i was having a hard time choosing what i wanted to do for that task. But after thinking awhile i got an idea :)

Me: Oh..actually its kind of fascinating that you weren't the challenge winner for any of the tasks during the Season & you won the title! Haha. Why do you think you won?
Jenna: That's a hard one :) Well i think i won because I tried to be true to myself and the tasks, what I mean is I made my scenerys based on my opinion such as (a true model). I also think I was unique, meaning my style and my scenerys.

Me: You surely were. ;) What is the positive & negative aspects of the competition you felt? 
Jenna: It was a very interesting competiton, I loved seeing everyone's great work! It was a fair competition overall. Fun experience.

Me: Want to give any advice or your key to success to our readers?
Jenna: Be YOURSELF! Don't try to be someone your not, Everyone will love you for who you truly are.

Me: That is so rue, Jenna. Are you looking forward to modeling in future?
Jenna: Sure i am :) It's alot fun.

Me: Great. In the end, anything you want to convey to the readers/followers/club members/contestants/friends.

Till now, you have done sceneries based on fairy tales, colors, corporate world & emotions assigned. This task is very different from the other tasks.

Create a scenery based on what you think a model is. I am not talking about photo shoots, cameras, dresses, ramp walks etc here. I want to see the moral values & thoughts of a model through a scenery. Her attitude towards work & life, her imagination, her emotions, her choice, her power or her addictions.whatever you think a model has. It can be either positive or negative or even both sides of her, whatever you feel to portrait.


Remember, this is the finale. So I want to see thebest in you!

Create a scenery based on a color. Any color of your choice. But please take care that you do not take the color already chosen by other contestant. Also, you can put up bits of other colors too but the main color you choose should be more prominent. Emphasis on your base color.

I was not so happy with most of your performance this time. First of all, modeling just not about photoshoots & posing. Its about converting yourself into the character & theme provided. Most of you did relate the theme 'Business & bureaucracy' to modeling instead of showing yourself as a business woman or making a commercial scene which is most important & that's why themes are! It really disappointed me.

I hope from next time, you will take care of this & do your best to connect with the theme/assignment.

Wow! I really like the pose, bg & your doll! Very neat & organized as well as spooky & mysterious. The hood looks gr8. Everything seems in place. A huge 9.5/10! Imperessive!

It doesnt seem like its glitched. Theres no glitch. Anyways, first thing I notice is the dress! Its really impressive & creative, the soul of the scene. Nice posing but the right arm looks a bit awkward. Overall, great job! 9/10.

Lovely. I love the natural feel you gave to the scenery & your doll falling into the water. Brings out a lot of fantasy & neat posing too but the tiles around the waist makes it look stiff. 8/10!

Nice scene. Very pleasant & warm. I like the gold touch you gave to the whole scenery. & of course the steam from the cup. Very royal & great concept. But you would have experimented with posing & the outfit. 8.5/10.

Like the pose & dress. I love the charm it has & one can actually understand that's its Cinderella without the title, so I would say, nice sense of expression. But you could have made it more royal & rich. That feel is missing. 8/10.

Tinypic Tutorials

Since many of you might not know how to use a Tinypic, here is a Tinypic tutorial:

STAGE 1-
1. There must be a button on the top right on the computer keyboard that says PrtScn. If you are a Mac user press command, shift, 4 at the same time, then drag how much you would like of the picture.
2. Open paint & choose 'Paste' from the 'Edit' menu. OR press ctrl+V.
3. You will have the screen pasted in the paint file. Select the required area & save the file.

STAGE 2-
1. Go to tinypic.com

2. Sign up if you dont have an account. Log in your account.
3. There should be a button that says choose file, click on it and browse the file that you need, then click choose.
4. Click the button that says 'UPLOAD NOW".
5. Enter the code that comes on the screen then click 'Go'.
6. Once all the links have loaded, copy the last one on the list that says 'For direct link & layouts'.
7. For posting the link on stardoll, take away the h t t p : / / and replace the i in tinypic with another letter.

For every scenery you make, first PrtScrn it before saving so that in case there are some stardoll glitches you can upload it on tinypic & post the link in comments section of your scenery.

SEASON 1-Task 1

Task 1 all the way!
Lets rewind & remember the beautiful fairy tales you heard of read. Dragons, princess, ballgowns, unicorns & other fantasy things. Create a scenery based on any fairy tale. Go away from reality & bring a flighty feel to it with your power of imagination!


Remember to write from which fairytale it is inspired & also give a summary/description of it in the scenery comments section. Use your imagination & make something from the fantasy world. Don't confine your thoughts. You can even  make up a fairytale story of your own! It is also not necessary to show yourself as a princess in the scenery. You can even be the Witch of 'Rapunzel' or the step mother of 'Cinderella'! What I need is just a piece of fairytale from your imagination.
